Zusätzlich recherchierte das Ingenieurbüro im Rahmen Ihres Hauptauftrages im Archiv des Bauamtes der Stadt Döbeln zu den Bestandsunterlagen der unmittelbar angrenzenden Gebäude in der Sankt-Georgen-Straße sowie Klosterstraße.

Die Durcharbeitung der Ergebnisse der Entwurfsplanung ergab nachfolgenden zusätzlichen Planungsaufwand:

-	Planung (Vorstatik) von Unterfangungen von 6 Gebäuden an der Klosterstraße und St.-Georgen-Straße

Zur statischen Entkopplung der bestehenden Auswände der angrenzenden Gebäude und der zu errichtenden Hochwasserschutzwand werden Unterfangungen notwendig. Dazu sollen vor der Herstellung der Hochwasserschutzwand die Fundamente der angrenzenden Gebäude vorsorglich unterfangen werden. Das bedeutet, dass die bestehende Gründung, soweit wie statisch erforderlich, nach unten in tragfähigere Bodenschichten verlängert und damit zusätzlich gesichert wird. Auf diese Weise wird gewährleistet, dass die Standsicherheit des Gebäudes auch während und nach den Bauarbeiten dauerhaft erhalten bleibt.
